Exploring London

Written by Nicola Koptisch on 23rd April.

Discover theatre in London.

London has many theatres in the West End, seeing a show is inspiring not only for the show but also for the theatres, many of which are famous for record length shows such as Phantom of the Opera in His Majesty’s theatre, Haymarket, Piccadilly. Small theatres tucked away in side streets, like St Martin's Theatre in West Street, near Shaftesbury Avenue adds to the excitement of exploring London by foot.  St Martin's Theatre has staged the production of The Mousetrap since March 1974, making it the longest continuous run of any show in the world.

Westfield is great environment for shopping, cinema and there are many restaurants, cafes, and bars to relax in. For a tourist, late night opening hours during the week, provides the opportunity to look at new trends, styles, and designs under one roof and at leisure.

Wrapping Up

The cinema at Selfridges is fabulous. The entrance has rows of light bulbs attached to a mirror glass ceiling the walls are made of padded red pintucked upholstered panels. The black and white floor leads to the cinema entrance.
