Gilding Work

My gilding work ranges from architectural interiors to furniture and decorative objects.

I use faux gold leaf and faux silver leaf which is cost effective and is very suitable for gilding large areas such as plaster cornices, plaster columns and jibbed ceilings.

Many items, I have repurposed with changing or adding some design features to enhance the piece before gilding. Some items are salvaged such as furniture legs that have been built into a console shelf and bed rails that have been used as decorative objects above a couch and above a bed head.

Smaller objects such as tableware can be used for special occasions and weddings.
